You will learn to use the correct equipment, clay and technique to create your own portrait of our model. Fully qualified teacher with recent portraiture work chosen for Surgeon' Hall Museum Edinburgh

Accommodation not included but there are lots of options.

Portraits are generally done standing up however we can arrange everything that is needed to make it fully inclusive for those of you who can't stand all day.

There are lovely cafes nearby where you can go for lunch.

We start at 10:30 and stop at 1 for 1 hours lunch break.

Feel free to bring your own packed lunch

You don't need to bring anything or have any prior experience is all done for you You take your piece home at the end of the second day, unfired.

Introductory offer Price is £350 per person - Tickets are non-refundable and in the event of the ticket holder cancelling they can transfer their ticket to another workshop. In the unlikely event I cancel obviously all payments will be fully refunded.

Monday's during Term Time 2023-2024

Each class is 5 students max.

Session 1 runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m

Sessin 2 runs from 1pm to 3p.m.

Session 3 Under 18’s -runs from 4pm to 5.30 pm

If you miss a class you can always try and pop in and use the studio another time.

In the event I need to cancel a class another class will be organized or you will be entitled to a voucher towards a workshop or class.

Workshops and add-ons will be available for class attendees at a reduced rate.

Inclusion -we will mostly work in the magic caravan. The studio is up quite a steep step. The toilets are available in the house. If you wish to attend and you would find the step or the small door a problem we can relocate the classes for that term, to my house. It doesn't have many steps however friends with wheelchairs find my house difficult because of the many different heights of the floor.

Apologies at this time I don't think I can access a wheelchair friendly space. If I have interested folks, three or more I can find a space to hire.
